Changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes for OxyDance Pilot.

v2.1.6September 8, 2026Latest

Stability, Images & MCP Templates

The builder no longer freezes on pages built section by section through MCP, images whose URL sits in srcset or a lazy-loading attribute now arrive intact, connection setup reports the actual cause of a failure instead of defaulting to HTTPS, and headers, footers and templates can be edited from your AI client.

FixedThe builder froze — on hover, click and right-click — on any page built section by section through MCP. The first element took the id the builder reserves for the page root, and every ancestor lookup then ran forever
FixedImages whose URL sits in srcset or a lazy-loading attribute (data-src) arrived as an empty image box. All nine builder converters now resolve the real URL, including inside a <picture>
ImprovedGenerated pages no longer come back with broken image links: the prompts ask for image URLs that always resolve instead of Unsplash photo ids a model cannot know, and retired source.unsplash.com URLs are rewritten to a working equivalent
NewHeaders, footers, global blocks, popups and templates are editable over MCP — list them with post_type, then use every existing tool on them (Breakdance and Oxygen 6)
Fixed“Application Passwords are unavailable” now names the real reason — a proxy or CDN hiding HTTPS from WordPress (with the one-line wp-config fix), or a security plugin that switched them off, named by file — instead of always blaming HTTPS
FixedThe AI-client config now starts on Windows: it launches the bridge through cmd /c, and the Connect page shows a macOS/Linux ⇄ Windows switch. The CLI snippets also quote your application password
Fixed“Error: failed to fetch” when inserting is retried through your own site, so a security plugin or CSP blocking the browser's request no longer stops a conversion
FixedLicense activation reports the actual failure (an unreachable license server names the connection error and the host to allow-list) instead of a flat “Network error. Please try again.”
FixedThe Edit-with-AI dock showed a hardcoded model instead of the one you configured, and the provider key check reported “invalid” for a key it merely could not reach
FixedConverting HTML into Oxygen stored a real, editable class instead of a compound selector, so renaming or restyling it in the panel works and no stray rule can leak site-wide
FixedMCP prompt resources were invisible to AI clients on older MCP Adapter versions, which also logged an error on every request
ImprovedIf the “Create with AI” button cannot attach to your builder's toolbar, it now appears as a launcher in the corner instead of not appearing at all
v2.1.5September 3, 2026

Oxygen 6 Without Add-ons

Oxygen 6 no longer needs the paid Breakdance Elements and Breakdance Forms add-ons, and sections converted into a stock Oxygen 6 site now arrive fully styled and editable.

ImprovedOxygen 6 needs no companion plugins — “Breakdance Elements for Oxygen” and “Breakdance Forms for Oxygen” are no longer required, and the panel opens without them
FixedSections converted into a stock Oxygen 6 site kept their background, padding, grid and text colour instead of arriving unstyled
FixedOxygen styles now land in real selectors you can edit from the Classes panel, and elements no longer pick up junk class names
FixedA form converted into Oxygen keeps its fields and button instead of arriving as an empty box
FixedBreakdance images keep their maximum width, so a capped screenshot no longer stretches full width
FixedA section with a gradient background no longer loses its other styles, and a transform using calc() can no longer break the rest of the page stylesheet
